Abstract
Literary translation is an activity full of delights and frustrations. And it could be argued that the more unusual the writing style of the author, the more delightful and frustrating the process becomes. There is no doubt that fiction written in a relatively straightforward way can be highly entertaining, memorable and thought-provoking.
