Basic rocks have been intruded into the paleozoic Arthur Marble at Rameka Creek. These basic rocks have undergone regional metamorphism, producing amphibolites, and have been considerably metasomatized. A fine grained phase of the Separation Granite is also present in the Rameka Creek area.en_NZ
