The Petrology of the Rameka creek area North West Nelson

Abstract

Basic rocks have been intruded into the paleozoic Arthur Marble at Rameka Creek. These basic rocks have undergone regional metamorphism, producing amphibolites, and have been considerably metasomatized. A fine grained phase of the Separation Granite is also present in the Rameka Creek area.
