Abstract:
This study investigates the extent to which programme makers employed at Radio New Zealand (RNZ) are satisfied with the information resources provided for their use by the RNZ Infofind library. The research fulfils a request from Infofind library staff who wish to know how well they are addressing the information needs of programme makers. A triangulated methodological approach was taken. This included observation of the subject matter of reference interviews, an interview with the Infofind librarians and a mailed questionnaire to programme makers. The results of the study indicate that programme makers are on the whole satisfied with the information resources and services provided by Infofind. Programme makers are homogenous in their use of current affairs resources from Infofind.
