Select bibliography on the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club of Wellington : 1883-1999

Abstract

This work is a start toward a solid information base on the history and activities of the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club. Information and sources are quite scattered, and authoritative work is rare. The archives of the Club have had to be appraised, arranged with a numeric series system in order for the collection to be annotated here. However, further possibilities are under review. It is hoped that knowledge of club records and sufficient access to them will improve on the knowledge of yachting in Wellington and New Zealand.
