Abstract:
This bibliography attempts comprehensive coverage of national science information collections, databases, services, and policies in New Zealand for the period 1913 to 1997. The starting date is chosen because of the Science and Art Act 1913, which proposed a national scientific library, which has resulted in continued discussion on the topic since. Only the major stakeholders in New Zealand science and technology, that is, the government, Crown Research Institutes, Research Associations, and The Royal Society of New Zealand have been chosen for inclusion in this bibliography. The contribution of the New Zealand Library Association, and National Library on this subject topic have also been included.
