Abstract:
The unification of law serves a useful purpose. Globalisation has in effect forced the law to take a more global approach. Models of law and conventions make international trading more safe and predictable. Every year the best minds in the world develop the principles of contract law to keep it up-to-date. But is it relevant for the South Pacific Islands? This paper analyses the necessity for Contract law Reform in the South Pacific and the possibility of the implementation of a new Model law.
