Removing barriers to users with disabilities in the electronic age : the challenge faced by New Zealand university libraries

Abstract

Immigrants coming into this country offer a challenge to organisations such as public libraries. Traditionally public libraries have been established to serve a mono-cultural society. Today, however New Zealand is following the global trend of becoming a multicultural society.
