Maori housing programme in New Zealand : its history, services currently offered and issues of major concern

Abstract

The history of the Maori housing programme, which was set up in 1935, is discussed through its various stages of development. The services that are currently offered by the Government departments that administer the programme are listed. The issues that could have impact on the policy of the programme are discussed in the last section of the report.
