Abstract:
This thesis is about love, women and social work. Society defines love in a variety of ways. It is a many faceted sensation covering a multiple of emotions. As individuals, we all have our own experiences that contribute to our definitions. In the course of the interviews for this research, Kate, Shana, Ashley, Rachel, Charlotte, Sarah, Alice and Sophie spoke of enduring love, torrid love, unrequited love, filial love, maternal love, passionate love, being in love and loving someone, and of course, romantic love.
