Abstract:
This research report discusses the general architectural aspects of acoustics as they relate in particular to the reverberation condition of built enclosure.
The second major aspect of this report concerns the construction and full documentation of an electronic room reverberation simulator. This equipment is used in an experiment on Articulation Index and demonstrated to model very closely the non simulated reverberation condition over a wide range.
It contains material suitable for the architectural student and practitioner alike and serves perhaps as a working basis for further development for the more advanced.
