Abstract:
In conjunction with its June 1981 Congress to be held in Warsaw, the International Union of Architects (U.I.A.) has organised a Competition for Students of Architecture. The theme of the Competition is "Rehabilitation of a Small Unit in a Degraded Urban Environment". As a supplement to the Entry mounted by two students from the School of Architecture, Victoria University, this Research Report discusses the philosophy behind the Entry, noting the main factors which influenced it and the form it takes on the submitted panels.
