The future of the suburbs: a case study

Abstract

The changing needs of a changing society inevitably create a need to change the residential environment. A new environment will depend on the acceptance or rejection of all elements of the present environment. This report describes a case study area in terms of elements and shows how diverse changes can occur when some elements are accepted while others are rejected.
