The court books of the Stationers' Company 1641-1679: a complete index and selected entries

Abstract

Much valuable and detailed information about the Stationers' Company of London is to be found within 'Liber C' and 'Liber D' of the Court books for the period 1641 to 1679. Such information has been presented in two main forms: first, as a complete index of people and book titles; second, as selected entries which refer to matters of policy. This work is intended to provide all users with quick and ready access to the principal contents of the proceedings.
