The design explores the technologies and beliefs that run parallel to those of the education facility that prides itself on exploring new media and trends. The structures intervention is one that is willing to acknowledge the beauty of symmetry within space, while refusing to integrate itself to the larger scale of cities strict grid. The exterior form of the building adheres to the same grid structure as the architecture around it, the historic column and beam network living within the site set the stage for which my animated form will live. This shift is animated through my intervention is one that explores my manipulation of the "wall" and its relationship within the interior space it inhabits. This exploration of the word has lead to the manipulation of its primary existence from one of structural holding to an object that blurs the definition of floor, roof and wall.
