This report looks at the power of architecture to invoke a presence and it considers whether the geomantic practices of the past are still being applied today. It looks at past and present practices in Geomancy; uses of Geomancy; users of Geomancy. It considers the relevance of Geomancy to a modern world by looking at three South Pacific examples and then three modern uses of Geomancy in the Wellington area. Conclusions are drawn as to whether Geomancy is still relevant today.
