It gives information regarding the themes and concerns of these writers, and the degree of New Zealand content each work contains. It is indexed by author, title and subject. A work is considered science fiction if it involves an imaginary and spectacular change in the human environment. A work is considered fantasy if the environment itself is imaginary, and is in some way impossible according to our known rules. Works in which the environment is unchanged but the events are fantastic, including tales of the supernatural, are considered magic realism and are not included. This bibliography aims for comprehensiveness within those definitions, and contains 109 entries. It is primarily intended for enthusiasts, teachers and librarians.pdfen-NZNew Zealandscience fictionfantasybibliographyFrom Erewhon to the eve of 2000 A D : a bibliography of New Zealand science fiction novels and anthologies in English, 1872-1999Text
