The aesthetic merits of Earth-shelter Architecture have enormous relevance in a country noted for its natural beauty. Tins country has led the world in many areas and taken a bold stance on many issues. Conceivably New Zealand could achieve further notoriety by accepting the earth-shelter lifestyle. At first glance there appears to be no problem with Earth-shelter architecture being introduced as a valid alternative to the New Zealand lifestyle. This report however is concerned with the practical problems of such an endeavour.
