Existing project delivery strategies were examined and one was adapted for use on renovations. It was then used to run the pre-construction phases of a small domestic alterations job, and conclusions were drawn on its workability and profitability. The model strategy was found to be a valuable and convenient tool, but if alterations are to be profitable for the architect (s)he will need to standardise procedures for greater efficiency and adopt a more appropriate fee system than the standard charge.pdfen-NZBuilding superintendenceDomestic architectureArchitectureSelection and monitoring of a project delivery strategy for small alterations workText
