The School's teaching and research areas include public policy and governance, economics and finance, management, marketing, tourism, accounting, HR, and Information Systems.
Library opening hours:
Weekdays 8am - midnight
Weekend 10am - 10pm
Subject Librarians provide specialised research support to individual staff and students and acts as liaisons to academic faculties, schools and programmes.
If you don't know how to start an assignment, are confused about all the Library databases, or are just generally confused about University life, speak to a Subject Librarian.
Subject Librarians can provide research support across all University levels and can also point you to the right people who can help you manage University life.
The Access Suite is a quiet space for students with impairments to study, access adaptive technology, rest and connect.

The Law School is just across the road from the Wellington School of Business Government - Ōrauariki.
The Law School's library can be used by all students. But you will need your student I.D. card to get in (and out) of the building.

The Library is a great study space with quiet and social zones. You have access to a printer/scanner and there are staplers at the Library's Info Desk.
There is a small collection of books relating to Commerce courses. These include standard loan books, 3 day loans, and 2hr course reserves. You can also request any book from the other campuses to be sent to the Commerce Library for you to pick up.
The Subject Librarian is available for appointments and can help you to do research for your assignments.
The bus station is located right outside Rutherford house. The 22 and 18 bus run regular services to the Kelburn campus.
If you're travelling between campuses on the same day, you may be eligible for a free bus pass. These printers are located around the Libraries and allow for printing, scanning to email, and photocopying.
Printing and photocopying costs 10 cents per side (black and white) and 20 cents per side (colour). Sanning to email does not cost.
You can top up your account by visiting printing funds portal which you can access on your personal device or a University computer.
To print, look for the printer on your device called "followme". Print as normal then go to any printer, login with your I.D. card (or standard login details), "release" the print job and wait for it to be finished so you can collect it.

The University can get quite busy, especially during assignment times. To save yourself from fighting for a seat, you can book these study rooms for yourself or a group.

Te Taiako - Student Learning are here to support you through your University journey. They can help you develop the skills you will need to succeed at University.
Most of the Library's resources can be access online via Te Waharoa (the Library's search engine).
Most courses will have a Reading List which can be accessed through Nuku.
Required course textbooks will be available through the Library, either in print or online. However, print copies and online copies will have limits on how many students can access them. So to guarantee you have the textbook when you need it, it is suggested you purchase them.

Welcome to our virtual tour of the Commerce Library at the Pipitea Campus.
The Commerce Library is part of Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington’s Pipitea Campus, which supports teaching and research for the Faculty of Commerce and Wellington School of Business and Government.
The Pipitea campus provides a full range of student support services. The campus sits between the Beehive and Wellington train station, providing easy access to innumerable coffee and food places. A bus line connects the Pipitea campus to the Kelburn campus, meaning students can easily move between the two.
The Commerce Library occupies part of the ground floor of Rutherford House. This tour will explore the library space, the support services and other interesting aspects of the library!
