Information resources for Sunday school teachers in Wellington : an annotated bibliography

Abstract

This project involves compiling an annotated printed bibliography of various information resources relating to activities and programmes for Sunday school teachers. In order to compile this bibliography to be used as a subject guide in checking relevant items for teaching activities and programmes, the process of compiling it included checking, searching, retrieving, identifying or locating, gathering, arranging and annotating. This bibliography contains Authors, Titles, Editors, Series and Organisations of various information resources that have been selected, annotated, and compiled. It also includes keywords or subject terms of the annotated resources relating to activities and programmes for Sunday school teachers. The contents is divided in two parts; Firstly, part. I present issues relating to production of this compiled list of annotated bibliography. It briefly describes how the resources were checked and gathered from various locations situated in Wellington. These locations include three libraries; the Film archives office, the two Children's Ministry sections of Anglican and Catholic Churches, two Sunday school offices of the Methodist and Presbyterian Churches, as well as three Christian bookshops. It also explains the arrangement of the various resources and includes how these annotated items can be located. Secondly, part. II lists various resources that are annotated and compiled in the Bibliography. It includes the Subject index that displays list of keywords at the back of the book. These keywords relate to annotated items in the Bibliography.
