This paper deals with video surveillance in the workplace. It addresses the question whether the current protection of employees against video monitoring under the Privacy Act 1993 is sufficient. As it is concluded that this is not the case, the paper discusses whether there is a need for a legislative framework specifically regulating the use of video surveillance in the workplace.en_NZ
