Abstract

This paper deals with the New Zealand internet filter against child pornography which came into being in 2010 after already being tested from 2007 to 2008. It will offer a short background, give a summary of how it works and then explain why the New Zealand internet filter is a bad idea, because it breaches the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990, specifically s 14.
