Navigation of the Northwest Passage

Abstract

This paper analyses the issues concerning navigation of the Northwest Passage and offers solution to clarify the current situation. It looks at the positions of Canada and the US and whether those are supported by legal arguments. The paper then turns to the question why the dispute is not resolved yet and offers different scenarios how it could be resolved.
