dc.description.abstract | The Invisible Traveller is a series concerned with dialogues. It is a project that explores the interior not only in terms of its representation but also as a representation in itself. Selecting the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, as my site, it became the vehicle through which I could explore the creation of a gallery space that responded not only to the physical construct of the existing structure that it was to inhabit but also to forces outside of architecture itself. The plate series is a manifestation of this process rendering in its combination of text, pencil, ink, digital modeling and manipulation an exploration of the experience of inhabiting the representation. | en_NZ |
