dc.description.abstract | An annotated bibliography on information literacy teaching in the tertiary library environment. Discusses definition of information literacy and the tertiary education sector. Identifies gap in current bibliographic literature. Methodology outlines the research process. Print and Endnote version of bibliography produced, implications of creating a web-based version are discussed. Contains significant proportion of related web based resources. Findings support need for more research, as identified by the literature. Also increased collaboration between libraries and also faculty / academics. Librarians need to promote information literacy ideals and skills to the wider community. | en_NZ |
