Selective annotated bibliography of New Zealand marine and coastal educational resources from 1970 to 1999

Abstract

The bibliography provides a selection of educational resources in a variety of formats produced in New Zealand between 1970 and the end of 1999 on New Zealand coastal and marine wildlife (plants, animals and birds) and habitats. Descriptive annotations are provided for the 263 entries. The entries are intended to be useful to the general interest reader and to act as a resource to support work in schools based on the New Zealand Science Curriculum strand "Making sense of the living world" from Year 7 to Year 13 level. A bibliography is provided in the appendices that lists additional relevant material taken from New Zealand's Nature Heritage.
