Auckland Harbour Bridge : a selective bibliography

Abstract

Auckland Harbour Bridge provides a vital transport link for the Auckland region. Although there is a wealth of material pertaining to the bridge, intellectual and physical access to sources is difficult, due to the far-flung, disparate nature of the material. This selective, annotated bibliography seeks to remedy the bibliographic weakness of the subject by collocating scholarly, technical and historical sources, within a range of formats. The bibliography contains one hundred and eighty two entries, arranged chronologically and by format. Access to entries is enhanced by author, title and subject indexes. The primary format of the bibliography is paper based, and is supported by bibliographic computer software to facilitate updating and advanced retrieval features
