This report states that:
*In an increasingly unpredictable world, new partners and new ways of thinking about old friends are needed.
*A number of Latin American countries share similar interests and views with New Zealand and Australia and offer a unique and as yet unrealised trade and economic opportunity for the two Tasman neighbours.
*To realise the benefits, a more strategic, broad based approach would be needed, involving a more focussed range of connections,
*Trans-Tasman collaboration, focused in specific areas, could increase impact and reduce cost.
