Composition portfolio

Abstract

For my masters degree I will a write series of works with an emphasis on mastering my own recordings to a professional standard. My music will focus on the area of theatre and dance, and will be conceived in a way that promotes and reflects long term continuous structural planning. These works will include: -One string quartet. -The incidental music and sound design for the play My Heart is Bathed in Blood. -One acousmatic dance piece for the National School of Dance Infinite Thread choreographic season. -One instrument and tape piece for the National School of Dance Infinite Thread choreographic season. -One piece for harp and flute. -Incidental music for the contemporary poetry project Spencer Street Station.
