Abstract

This report set out to reveal a pattern or patterns that can be seen as consistent with apartment development in the existing fabric of previously commercial and or industrial buildings. The study of patterns of "type", offers the opportunity to examine what changes if any are being made and what conclusions may be drawn regarding the nature of these dwellings, in high density situations.
