Abstract
The purpose of this bibliography is provide a tool for people interested in the David Bain case to access material that will assist them in deciding for themselves if he is guilty or innocent. The material has been assessed and annotated to add value to the information and to try and reduc~ duplication of resources. A range of sources has been chosen from print, electronic, and audio-visual material to provide a broad overall view. The Bain family murders have had an impact on New Zealand that has not decreased in the intervening years since the murder, with many people becoming interested in the case once more since it was announced that the case is being referred back to the Court of Appeal. The bibliography focuses on articles relating to the question of David Bain's guilt or innocence. This includes some material about Joe Karam as he has become an important campaigner and has provided a large proportion of the material that is considered 'new evidence'.
