Abstract
Navigating Digital Drawing explores the processes of architectural computer drawing through allegorical reflections on navigation.
It charts drawing through the shifting possibilities of computer technology and instrumental and metaphysical properties of navigation. It relates this to the light as a navigational reference and imaginary construction
Navigating Digital Drawing reflects on the poetic encounters and structured implementation of navigation and the refractive shifts encountered as a result in architectural drawings on the computer. It reflects on these refractive shifts through three specific yet discursive devices that expose open-ended and tangential possibilities of exploration.
Navigating Digital drawing is a speculative exploration and collocation of poetic reflections (rather than a prosaic description) using the computer in the processes of architectural drawing.
