Asian economic crisis, 1997-1999 : an annotated bibliography of specialist writings published in New Zealand

Abstract

The Asian Crisis began in 1997 and its effects have since spread around the globe. New Zealand has not been immune. This bibliography gathers together selected writings on the subject of the Asian Economic Crisis, published in New Zealand by professional and academic economists. The writings were found by searching the National Library of New Zealand's online catalogues for relevant print items, books and periodicals, and by searching the websites of Treasury and of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand as well as the websites of New Zealand universities for relevant electronic documents on the Asian Crisis. The bibliography is designed for an undergraduate student user in the economics or business field and includes a Glossary of Acronyms, a Glossary of Geographical Terms, an Index of Authors, an Index of Keyterms and an Index of Titles.
