Abstract
This selective annotated bibliography describes a total of 136 books, journal articles, chapters, reports and papers written in the 1991-1996 period on the structural reform of the New Zealand health care system. It comprises descriptions of documents available from the Victoria University Library, Wellington, and the National Library of New Zealand. The selection of described documents is aimed at offering a general audience or students of public policy a general introduction to the structural changes to the health system during this period. According to the author's knowledge, no other bibliography on this specific topic exists, thus it is expected that this collection will fill a gap in the bibliographic literature. The documents chosen were located through the online catalogues of the two named libraries, as well as via Te Puna, New Zealand's national bibliographic database. Items are arranged chronologically in order to demonstrate the progress of events. Items are numbered sequentially and are referenced in the names index and in the subject keyword index. Suggestions are given for location of further material.
