dc.description.abstract This research project sought to get a "snapshot" view of the exhibition activities of the national libraries and archives of New Zealand, Singapore and Australia. It sought to discover what roles exhibitions played in these institutions. Qualitative content analysis methods were used to generate grounded theory from the raw data of corporate report and websites. The research found eight roles for exhibitions in the national libraries and archives in the Pacific Rim. en_NZ
