dc.description.abstract The white-spotted tussock moth (Orgyia Thyellina) was first discovered in the eastern suburbs of Auckland in April 1996. The ensuing campaign to eradicate this pest was one of the most expensive and debated public scientific programmes ever undertaken in New Zealand. This bibliography aims to remedy the lack of a coherent record of the events surrounding the tussock moth incident in Auckland over the period of 1996 -1999. It aims to fill an information gap that will enable those interested in the historical and scientific impact of this event in New Zealand to more easily overview the published record and to locate and select the diverse material that has been published to further their own interests and research. en_NZ
