dc.description.abstract This essay explores the Library and Information Science literature surrounding the Internet and its use in corporate libraries. A pool of articles was selected and then analysed to identify the main themes. These indicate the issues central to the experience of corporate librarians and the Internet. The experiences of the librarians documented in the literature are contrasted with the provocative predictions of Davenport and Prusak made in their article "Blow Up the Corporate Library" earlier this decade. The overriding theme was the issue of the changing role of librarians. en_NZ
