dc.description.abstract This bibliography aims to bring together material in the public eye which has covered conflict between conservation and logging interests on West Coast between 1997 and November 1998. The large range of material available and the limitations of time and resources led to the choice of a selective bibliography, with coverage of newspaper, magazine and pamphlet/ephemeral materials. The bibliography intends to provide a tool for activists and researchers working within this still young and active part of New Zealand's conservation movement, reflecting earlier conservation campaigns and also provides an indication of potential future conflicts with the debate over issues of sustainability. en_NZ
