dc.description.abstract This research essay is a study of the impact of digital legal information on reference and information services in New Zealand academic law libraries. The essay reviews published literature from the fields of Law and Library and Information Studies on the growth in electronic legal information and its impact on academic law library reference and information services. Possible new models for law library academic reference and information service are identified and evaluated, and conclusions are drawn about appropriate new models for legal information services to New Zealand law schools. en_NZ
