dc.description.abstract New Zealanders have had a long affinity with food and cooking. Despite the growing popularity of cookery books this is the first selective annotated bibliography to be compiled on the years between 1950 and 1989. It includes only monographs and is aimed at both social historians and cookery enthusiasts. Items are arranged within the subject/genre/style of cooking. Within each section, the citations are arranged chronologically. Annotations are descriptive and aim to provide an indication of the content of each item. An author and a chronological index are included. en_NZ
