dc.description.abstract This bibliography fills a gap in the existing organisation of educational resources by listing material in several formats that can be used by New Zealand intermediate school children and teachers in studying a range of issues related to the Antarctic. Previous bibliographies have concentrated on the needs of researchers in the many fields of Antarctic scientific research. This bibliography aims to plug that gap by providing an easy-to-use guide to a wide range of topics of interest in the classroom. To provide for ease of use each item cited is arranged alphabetically with a sequence number alongside. By searching the Keyword Index or Author Index the user is given the appropriate location of the item within the bibliography by means of both the main author's name and the sequence number. A short annotation of each item is intended to give an idea of the content or merits of the item. en_NZ
