dc.description.abstract Split Enz were and remain New Zealand's most popular and successful band. During their career, the band were noted for the originality of their music, image and stage performances. Despite their popularity and international reputation, the annotated bibliography is the first to be compiled on material relating to the band's career between 1972 and 1984. It includes monographs, newspaper and periodical articles, concert and album reviews, television documentaries, radio interviews, ephemera and Internet sources. Items are arranged primarily within chronological time periods. Within each period, items are arranged by material type. Annotations are descriptive and aim to provide an indication of the content of each item. A subject and author index is included. en_NZ
