This annotated bibliography of Waimate, South Canterbury, is of material that deals wholly or substantially with Waimate. The bibliography is comprehensive for books and pamphlets that deal wholly or substantially with the Waimate District or aspects of it, theses that relate to the area, and newspapers that may contain relevant information. The bibliography also includes newsletters of community groups, printed music about Waimate, some ephemera, and cookbooks and other fundraising publications published by Waimate organisations, but not necessarily about Waimate. The bibliography also shows how to find material that is not included.
