Gun control in New Zealand : a bibliography

Abstract

Research for this project revealed a gap in the bibliographic coverage of material concerning gun control published in or about New Zealand. This annotated bibliography of 120 items was compiled in an attempt to partially fill this void. Appropriate keywords were first identified and major bibliographic and indexing tools were then searched. Further documents were unearthed by following through references and by contacting subject specialists. Coverage of relevant acts, regulations and monographs is comprehensive, but other items have been selectively included. Poor retrospective coverage of the important bibliographic tools means this bibliography has an unintended emphasis from the 1980s onwards.
