dc.description.abstract This bibliography is an annotated compilation of sources available in New Zealand libraries that relate to the artists Ani O'Neill, Dagmar Dyck, Lily Laita, Niki Hastings-McFall, Shigeyuki Kihara and Sofia Tekela-Smith. These contemporary female Pacific artists have been key players in the flourishing Pacific art scene in New Zealand over the past two decades, and represent a range of artistic styles and practices from paintings to fashion to body adornment. Due to time and space restrictions, this bibliography is not comprehensive, but includes a range of publications that highlight the breadth of these their artistic careers. The publications selected are thought to be of use to art, art history and Pacific studies tertiary students, as well as scholars and curators seeking a starting point for researching the topic. The bibliographical items are divided into two sections, with the first section including contextual publications and items relating to more than one artist, and the second section being comprised of sub-sections relating to individual artists. en_NZ
