These terms are now associated in several industries outside the profession of Architecture, including the industries of Information Technology, Business Finance, and Cosmetics. The multitude of Architectural terms created within these industries, are evolving at an increasing and uncontrolled rate. This rate of semantic change appears to be progressing far more rapidly then the public's ability to absorb, evaluate, and configure a response to this shift.
