dc.description.abstract |
The position of this essay will be explored through two challenging contexts. The first one focuses on the process of challenging the functional, cultural and social context of standard libraries in history and modern interior architecture. Secondly, the essay will discuss tools that will help to explore further the position of library design as well as analyse the works of key signature architectures in the field of library design.Through extended researches and analysis of library cases in the past and the present, new ideas will be collected for a prospective library that provides "spirit of place" and interpret human’s consciousness and mental needs. |
