dc.description.abstract This is my dream. The girl. With her red hair spitting fire, she follows one of the many silver streams that cling like mercury to the mountain's back. She makes no sound. Planting her feet on flat rocks, she never falls. Sometimes she stands still and calls like a bird, but no one answers. Beneath her she sees how the land rolls out flat till it reaches the sea. She remembers how once she tasted salt, and looks back, but there's no one to tell. She sees lights and at first thinks the stars have dropped from the sky and planted themselves in the earth. She'd laugh but knows that laughter is meant to be shared. She remembers about people and her head starts to hurt. She thinks about light and how it can catch you. en_NZ
