dc.description.abstract In writing this report I have attempted to produce a manual to assist persons interested in stone construction of all, or parts of, domestic scale building. Part of this study is to illustrate techniques and rules for stone laying describing the advantages as well as warning those of the disadvantages in using stone. Included in the description is a large section discussing various methods of construction with suggestions as to the availability and natural properties of the stones used. en_NZ
